3.5 Jou skool se sokkerspan reis vanaf Kaapstad na Grahamstad om aan 'n sokkertoernooi deel te neem. Die span kan met die kus langs oor 'n afstand van 899 km per bus reis, of julle kan per trein oor De Aar reis. Die afstand tussen Kaapstad en De Aar is 762 km. Van De Aar na Grahamstad is dit 444 km.

Hoeveel verder sal julle reis as julle per trein gaan?

3.6 'n Spesiale toer na die Kruger Nasionale Park is vir 134 toeriste van oorsee georganiseer. Die ruskamp se rondawels het slaapplek vir 8 persone. Hoeveel rondawels sal vir hierdie groep toeriste benodig word?

1.3 die volgende getalle herken en voorstel sodat dit beskryf en vergelyk kan word:
  • gewone breuke met verskillende noemers, insluitend halwes, derdes, kwarte, vyfdes, sesdes, sewendes en agstes;
  • gewone breuke in diagramvorm;
  • desimale breuke in terme van 0,5; 1,5; 2,5, ens., in die konteks van meting;
  • veelvoude van enkelsyfergetalle tot minstens 100;
1.5 ekwivalente vorms van die bogenoemde getalle herken en gebruik, insluitend;
  • gewone breuke met noemers wat veelvoude van mekaar is;
  • desimale breuke in terme van 0,5; 1,5; 2,5, ens. In die konteks van die meting;
1.7 probleme oplos wat die volgende behels:1.7.1 vergelyking van twee of meer hoeveelhede van dieselfde soort(verhouding);
1.8 skat en bereken deur geskikte bewerkings vir die oplossing van probleme in verband met die volgende kies en te gebruik:
  • optel van gewone breuke in konteks;
  • gelyke verdeling met reste;
1.9 hoofberekeninge uitvoer wat die volgende behels:1
1.9.2 vermenigvuldiging van heelgetalle tot minstens 10 x 10;

Patrone, Funksies en AlgebraDie leerder kan patrone en verwantskappe herken, beskryf en voorstel en kan probleme oplos deur gebruik te maak van algebraïese taal en vaardighede.
Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder:
2.1 numeriese en meetkundige patrone ondersoek en uitbrei om verwantskap of reëls te vind, insluitend patrone soos die volgende:
  • voorgestel in fisiese of diagramvorm;
  • nie beperk tot reekse met ‘n konstante verskil of verhouding nie;
  • teenwoordig in natuurlike en kulturele kontekste;
  • wat die leerder self geskep het;
2.2 verwantskappe of reëls wat waargeneem is in eie woorde beskryf;
2.3 uitsetwaardes vir gegewe insetwaardes bepaal deur gebruik te maak van:
  • woordelikse beskrywing;
  • vloeidiagramme.
