Aktiwiteit: hersiening [lu 3.5, lu 4.4]

1. Kom ons hersien!

a) Verdeel in groepe van drie. Bring soveel moontlik leë 3-dimensionele vorms van die huis af saam. Maak dan ’n Wiskunde- “model” wat julle in die klas kan ophang! (Onthou: dit moet balanseer!)

b) Voltooi die volgende sodat die gesig simmetries sal wees.

c) Behou die patroon en voltooi die volgende tessellasies.

d) Wat noem ons die volgende twee-dimensionele figure?



e) Teken die vorms hieronder oor. Knip dit uit en bou ’n vierkant daarmee. Plak dit in die blok hieronder.

2. Het jy geweet?

Meer as 2 500 jaar gelede het die Egiptenare van Noord-Afrika alreeds lengtes gemeet. Hulle het besef dat geboue (die piramides) dieselfde vorm, maar verskillende groottes kan hê. Om reguit lyne te verseker, het hulle ’n tou of stuk draad tussen twee penne in die grond gespan. Om die lengte van die piramide se basis te meet, het hulle knope ewe ver uit mekaar in ’n tou gemaak. Die hoofeenheid wat hulle vir lengte gebruik het, was die “ellemaat”. Dit was die lengte van die Farao (Egiptiese koning) se voorarm – van sy elmboog tot die punt van sy middelvinger.

Om seker te maak dat die mure regop was, het hulle ’n tou met ’n gewiggie aan gebruik. Dit is van die bopunt van die muur gehang, en die gewiggie kon dan vryelik swaai. Wanneer dit tot stilstand gekom het, kon hulle sien of die muur skeef was of nie.

Leeruitkomste 4: Die leerder is in staat om gepaste meeteenhede, instrumente en formules in ‘n verskeidenheid kontekste te gebruik.

Assesseringstandaard 4.4: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder maniere van meting deur die geskiedenis heen in verskillende kulture beskryf en illustreer, insluitend die metrieke en ander formele meetstelsels.

I don't understand what the A with approx sign and the boxed x mean
it think it's written 20/(X-6)^2 so it's 20 divided by X-6 squared
I'm not sure why it wrote it the other way
I got X =-6
ok. so take the square root of both sides, now you have plus or minus the square root of 20= x-6
oops. ignore that.
so you not have an equal sign anywhere in the original equation?

The answer is neither. The function, 2 = 0 cannot exist. Hence, the function is undefined.

anybody can imagine what will be happen after 100 years from now in nano tech world

At high concentrations (>0.01 M), the relation between absorptivity coefficient and absorbance is no longer linear. This is due to the electrostatic interactions between the quantum dots in close proximity. If the concentration of the solution is high, another effect that is seen is the scattering of light from the large number of quantum dots. This assumption only works at low concentrations of the analyte. Presence of stray light.
