Descripción de Connexions Roadmap y las funcionalidades de anotación.

Connexions roadmap

Roadmap es una herramienta para navegar a nuestra manera por un curso de Connexions. Consiste en la barra de herramientas de Connexions y Courseview. Podemos usar Roadmap para movernos de módulo en módulo dentro de un curso o para volver a nuestro lugar en el curso después de habernos desviado del camino del curso establecido por el instructor o enlazado a otro sitio de Internet.

Actualmente, Roadmap está disponible sólo con navegadores Mozilla y Netscape 7.x.

La barra de herramientas de connexions

Cuando ejecutamos Mozilla o Netscape, deberíamos ver la barra de herramientas Connexions , como muestra en .

La barra de herramientas de Connexions

De izquierda a derecha, la barra de herramientas Connexions contiene el logo de Connexions (un enlace a la página de inicio de Connexions), el título del módulo que estamos viendo, y botones para mostrar los módulos previos y siguientes, buscar un módulo o curso, mostrar información de Roadmap, acceder a un diccionario y mostrar u ocultar Courseview (el visor del curso).

Si la barra de herramientas no está visible, podemos mostrarla yendo al menú View (Ver), seleccionando Show/Hide, y asegurándonos de que Connexions Toolbar está marcado. Si esta opción no aparece en nuestro menú Show/Hide, quizás debamos instalar el software de Connexions Roadmap o contactar con el administrador de nuestro sistema.

Habilitando la barra de herramientas de Connexions

Activar roadmap

Una vez que la barra de herramientas está visible, podemos pulsar Show/Hide en la parte derecha de la barra de herramientas para mostrar Courseview en el panel izquierdo de la pantalla del curso. Cuando cargamos un curso, aparecerá en el panel izquierdo. Podemos ocultarlo pulsando Show/Hide de nuevo.

Si estamos usando Mozilla, la barra lateral de Mozilla puede que esté visible a la izquierda de Roadmap. Podemos ocultarla pulsando F9 , de manera que dispongamos de más espacio de pantala. Podemos mostrarla de nuevo pulsando F9 otra vez en cualquier momento.

Los botones previous y next

Una vez que un curso ha sido cargado, podemos navegar por este utilizando los botones Previous y Next a la derecha del nombre del curso en la barra de herramientas. No se trata de lo mismo que los botones de avance y retroceso de nuestro navegador. Previous y Next van sólo a través de los módulos del curso cargado. Aunque abandonemos el curso para mostrar otra página web, Previous y Next mostrarán los módulos previo y siguiente en la secuencia del curso.

Otros botones de la barra de herramientas

  • Pulsando en el logo de Connexions a la izquierda de la barra de herramientas, se muestra la página de inicio de Connexions .
  • Search muestra la página web "Search the Connexions repository", donde podemos buscar todos los módulos por palabras clave (motor de búsqueda básico), nombre de módulo, ID de módulo, nombre del autor, nombre del mantenedor o cuerpo del texto completo.
  • Help muestra este módulo.
  • Dictionary muestra una página web de diccionario, la cual es útil para buscar palabras a medida que avanzamos en el curso.
