Module 1

Be a friend

Look closely at the comic strip. write down what is happening in each picture.

Answer the following questions:

  • Why was the girl unhappy?
  • Did they become friends again? Why do you say so?
  • Talk to a friend about your feelings when you are angry.
  • Offer your friend sound advice when he/she is unhappy.
  • Tick off all the characteristics that you recognize of yourself:
I like to laugh.
Sometimes I use bad language.
I like to help other people.
I am friendly.
Sometimes I become impatient.
I bully my friends.
I am honest.
  • Draw a picture of yourself helping an elderly lady with her trolley in the supermarket.
  • Everybody has now had an opportunity to talk to one another about all the good and bad things in people.
  • We will now demonstrate to one another how we sometimes behave on the playground.
  • Group activity: Dramatization.

  • Which characteristic did your group dramatize?
  • Did you find it difficult to solve the problem?
  • What was your solution?
