Potensiaalverskil PV Druk op elektrisiteit wat een volt lewer
Volt V Standaardeenheid van meting van die drukkrag in elektrisiteit

  • (1706-1790)
  • In 1752 vlieg hy ‘n vlieër met ‘n metaalsleutel tydens ‘n donderstorm. Hy sien vonke spat en besef dat weerlig elektrisiteit dra.
  • Hy het aanvanklik gereken elektrisiteit is ‘n wondervloeistof.
  • Nicola Tesla:
  • (1856-1943)
  • Hy het die wisselstroom-idee geskep en, die Tesla-winding ontwerp wat groot transformasies en voltladings kon dra. Dis in radio-tegnologie gebruik.
  • Alessandro Volta:
  • (1745-1827)
  • In 1800 ontdek hy dat twee metale geskei kon word deur elektrisiteit
  • deur chemiese vloeistowwe te stuur. Dit was die eerste elektriese selle. Hy’t selle bymekaar gesit en die eerste battery geproduseer.
  • Georg Simon Ohm:
