Energie: elektrisiteit, energie, warmte en lig

Module 9

Elektrisiteitseenhede

Aktiwiteit:

Om elektrisiteitskoste te bereken

[lu 1.3, 2.4]

1 kWh IS DIE HOEVEELHEID ELEKTRIESE ENERGIE WAT ‘N TOESTEL MET ‘N DRYWING VAN 1 kW IN EEN UUR GEBRUIK.

kWh = drywing x tyd

Sê nou jy wil weet hoeveel energie jou haardroër (1 500W) in 20 minute gebruik.

kWh = drywing x tyd

= 1 500w x 0.333

= 0.5 kWh

As 1 kWh 50c kos, sal jou haardroër se gebruik die volgende koste meebring:

Koste = 0.5 kWh x 50c

= 25c

Opdrag 1:

  • 1 kW = 1000 W

So sou ‘n 100 W gloeilamp vir 10 ure brand.

Ander toestelwaardes:

TOESTEL AANGEDUIDE DRYWING HOOG OF LAAG?
Radio 26/32 W L
Tv 80 W L
Strykyster 1200 W H
Sakrekenaar 0.0006 W Baie L
Rekenaar 280 W H
Boor 500 W H
Stoof 1000 W H
Mikrogolfoond 750 W H
Ketel ? H
Broodrooster ?

  • Koste = 0.45 kWh x 50c
  • = R 2,25

can someone explain to me, an ignorant high school student, why the trend of the graph doesn't follow the fact that the higher frequency a sound wave is, the more power it is, hence, making me think the phons output would follow this general trend?

Nevermind i just realied that the graph is the phons output for a person with normal hearing and not just the phons output of the sound waves power, I should read the entire thing next time

Follow up question, does anyone know where I can find a graph that accuretly depicts the actual relative "power" output of sound over its frequency instead of just humans hearing
