1. Kom ons kyk of jy jou kennis in verband met honderdduisende kan toepas. Vul die volgende getalle korrek in die tabel in:

3. Jy het reeds in aktiwiteit 1.3 die geleentheid gehad om getalle in uitgebreide notasie te skryf. Kyk of jy dit ook met die volgende getalle korrek kan doen:

1.4.1 heelgetalle tot minstens 9-syfergetalle;

Assesseringstandaard 1.10: Dit is duidelik wanneer die leerder ‘n verskeidenheid tegnieke gebruik om sowel skriftelike as hoofberekeninge met heelgetalle te doen, insluitend:

1.10.3: opbou en afbreek van getalle.

At high concentrations (>0.01 M), the relation between absorptivity coefficient and absorbance is no longer linear. This is due to the electrostatic interactions between the quantum dots in close proximity. If the concentration of the solution is high, another effect that is seen is the scattering of light from the large number of quantum dots. This assumption only works at low concentrations of the analyte. Presence of stray light.
