Aktiwiteit 1

Om ‘n probleem te identifiseer en ‘n ontwerpopdrag te aanvaar [lu 1.1, 1.4, 1.6]

Lees meegaande faks en skryf daarna Supertoy se ontwerpvoorstel in een sin.

AAN: Tegnologie-ontwerpspan

VAN: Speelgoedwêreld

ONDERWERP: Speelgoed vir laerskoolkinders

Vanjaar val die klem op praktiese (eenvoudige) speelgoed wat kinders vir hulself kan maak om tuis mee te speel. Ons wil hê u moet die volgende twee produkte (hoed, roeiboot), wat ons voorlopig ontwerp het, bou en verbeter. Neem in ag dat dit bekostigbaar en ook aantreklik moet wees. Gebruik slegs die materiale wat verskaf word.

Hoede

  • Materiale : Papier/karton, skêr, kramdrukker, gom, spleetspeld.
  • Hulplyn : Besonderhede van die ses gewildste hoede by kinders word verskaf.
    Roeiboot
  • Materiale : 1ℓ karton melkhouer, kleefband/gom, twee (roomys-) stokkies, rekkies, kramdrukker, skêr.
  • Hulplyn : Ontwerpplan word verskaf.

Leeruitkoms 1: tegnologiese prosesse en vaardighede

Die leerder is in staat om tegnologiese prosesse en vaardighede eties en verantwoordelik toe te pas deur toepaslike inligtings- en kommunikasietegnologie te gebruik.

Assesseringstandaard

Dis duidelik wanneer die leerder:

1.1 uitvind, met hulp, oor die agtergrondkonteks (bv. mense, omgewing) wanneer ‘n probleem, behoefte of geleentheid gegee word;

  • uitvind oor bestaande produkte wat relevant vir ‘n probleem, behoefte of geleentheid is, en die hoofontwerpsaspekte (bv. vir wie dit is, waarvoor dit is, hoe dit lyk) identifiseer wat dit geskik as ’n oplossing maak;

1.3 waar gepas ’n wetenskaplike ondersoek uitvoer oor begrippe wat relevant vir ‘n probleem, behoefte of geleentheid is deur wetenskapprosesvaardighede te gebruik:

  • beplan die ondersoek;
  • voer die ondersoek uit;
  • verwerk en interpreteer data;
  • evalueer en kommunikeer bevindinge;

1.4 met bystand ’n kort en duidelike stelling (ontwerpopdrag) skryf of kommunikeer vir die ontwikkeling van ‘n produk vir ‘n gegewe doel;

1.6 een van hierdie oplossings kies en redes vir die keuse gee.

fullerene is a bucky ball aka Carbon 60 molecule. It was name by the architect Fuller. He design the geodesic dome. it resembles a soccer ball.

That is a great question Damian. best way to answer that question is to Google it. there are hundreds of applications for buck minister fullerenes, from medical to aerospace. you can also find plenty of research papers that will give you great detail on the potential applications of fullerenes.

Yeah, it is a pain to say the least. You basically have to heat the substarte up to around 1000 degrees celcius then pass phosphene gas over top of it, which is explosive and toxic by the way, under very low pressure.
