Economy and values after a century of empirical research

In this presentation prof. Musek will focus primarily on the description of his theoretical model of values which is the fruit of some decades of empirical and psychological research. Human values are important subjects of study in economy and psychology. The shared interest of both disciplines for the research of values is increasing in recent times in accordance with paradigmatic changes in both sciences. In psychology the values appear in radically new light in the shift toward thesocial, cultural and cognitive prospective, in the economics the value became increasingly important subjects of research within the evolution from classical and neo-classical economic paradigm to behavioral economics.
